DC CCW

This is a DC Concealed Pistol License Course ONLY. This 16-hour DC Concealed Carry class meets all requirements set forth by the Metropolitan Police Department for obtaining a DC CCPL permit. Taught by a certified instructor, this course includes essential firearm safety, use of force laws, concealed carry techniques, and situational awareness. THE COURSE WILL BE HELD OVER TWO DAYS: • Lecture Portion: Delivered via Zoom on Saturday May 17, 2025. • Hands-On Training and Live Range Qualification: Conducted in person at the specified location on Sunday May 18, 2025. ______________________________________________________ IMPORTANT DETAILS: • Fingerprinting: Required for application submission and provided at application appointment. • Included: Firearms, ammo, ear/eye protection (must be returned after class; bringing your own is optional), and refreshments. • Range Fee: $30, paid in class. • Attire: Proper range attire is mandatory (closed-toe shoes, full-length pants, no loose clothing, NO LONG NAILS). • Firearms: Personal firearms are not allowed in class but can be brought to the range with your own ammo. ______________________________________________________ ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: • Photos and videos will be taken during class for marketing purposes. • No Refunds: Ensure eligibility by contacting the licensing division.
